For the master shot scene project I was the director of photography/editor. It was a really good experience and very smooth because I had the story board ahead of time to visualize what was going to happen the day of the shoot. Something that we had to fight was because we filmed at Carolina beach state park, was as it got darker towards the afternoon and evening it started to be to bright in some places and to dark in others. Another problem that we ran into was because we were at the beach the water was very loud coming up with the tides so at some points it drowned out what the actors were saying. It all seemed to work out in premiere though. If i had to do it all over again I would choose to do it in the middle of the day when its going to stay bright outside all day so that it wouldn't look different in the film.
